Here’s how to make it: 

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla. Beat until combined. Add the mashed bananas and stir until combined.
  2. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine, then add to the wet ingredients. Do not over-mix. 
  3. Fold in the blueberries. 
  4. Pour the batter into a 9×5-inch loaf pan that’s been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool.
